United States Proof Sets are unique items that were first produced in 1936 with a very limited release. Proof coins refer to the method of production and not the finish of the coins although proof coins usually are distinguished by their mirror like surfaces.
Each set contains:
- Lincoln cent
- Jefferon nickel
- Roosevelt dime
- Statehood Quarters - Oklahoma, New Mexico, Arizona, Alaska and Hawaii
- Kennedy half
- Sacagawea dollar
- Presidental dollars - James Monroe, John Quincy Adams, Andrew Jackson and Martin Van Buren
