All of these are produced by the United States Mint which are currently active in Philadelphia (P), Denver (D), San Francisco (S), and West point (W).  Coins from non-active mints which were located in Charlotte, NC (C)., Dahlonega, GA. (D), New Orleans, LA. (O), Carson City, NV. (CC), are especially rare and collectable by numismatics enthusiasts.
