1937 D 3 Legged Buffalo

When determining if you have a genuine 1937 D Buffalo nickel your coin should have all of these characteristics before you should be feel confident that you have genuine 3 Legged nickel.  On the obverse of the coin at the base of the Indian heads neck it should look rough.  On the reverse of the coin the front leg is the one that should have details missing and it should be between the hoof and the upper part of the leg.  The second thing you should look for is a die crack the runs from the back leg to the mound in a curved trajectory.  Please use the image above as a reference as this is a certified 3 Legged Buffalo nickel with all of this characteristics.
